Upright headstones have become one of the most common types of cemetery memorials purchased today.
They consists of 2 separate pieces that are bonded together. The top piece is called a "die" or "tablet."
The bottom piece is called a "base."

Choosing How "Polished" You Would Like Your Monument??
Monuments come is a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. One of the options you can choose from on some monuments is how many sides of the top base of the monument is polished. A general rule of thumb is that the more polish a monument has, the more expensive it can be. Below are examples of three different options when is comes to polished sides.
