At Northcoast Memorials we do not charge extra for any lettering or designs from our catalog of designs for your memorial.  We have tens of thousands of designs to custom design your memorial.  Slants and upright monument lettering is an extra charge only on the backside of them.  The front side is no additional charge.  You should never pay extra for the lettering or flat carved designs on your memorial.  More than one name on a memorial is no additional charge. Hand carved (also called shape carved) flowers and designs as well as photo etching done by hand or using a laser are an extra charge.

Yes. Most cemeteries allow a photograph to be etched directly on the memorial whether it’s done by hand or with a laser. Some cemeteries allow a black granite etched insert or a color or black and white photo insert on the memorial. Many families like to put a special photo such as a wedding, anniversary, birth or school photo on their memorial. It is best to consult with Northcoast Memorials regarding the policies of your cemetery for photographs on your memorial.

Generally a flush marker will take around 3-4 weeks from the time you order till it gets to the cemetery.  All memorials have to be approved by the cemetery before we can produce them. By dealing with Northcoast Memorials, we keep a large selection of memorials is stock thus reducing the waiting time.  Slants and upright monument can take six to eight weeks. Sizes and special custom shaped monument can take up to twelve weeks.
